No.7: The Zimbelstern
Usually in the form of a shaft mounted high in the organ front, with a rotating star of wood or metal at the end and a series of bells or chimes inside on tappets actuated by the rotation. That in the illustration is driven by a jet of wind.
Popular in Northern Europe, particularly Germany in 17th and 18th Centuries.
